Data Deletion

This page explains the controls AdStopLoss users have to disconnect Google Ads, permanently delete their account, and request help with account or product data deletion.

Effective Date: May 20, 2026 Authenticated deletion Email confirmation Backup retention

1. Disconnect Google Ads

You can disconnect Google Ads from the dashboard integrations page. Disconnecting a Google Ads account stops future syncs for that connection.

Disconnecting does not necessarily remove all previously stored account, campaign, metric, alert, or email log data. To remove stored product data, delete your account or send a support request.

2. Self-Serve Account Deletion

Logged-in users can delete their AdStopLoss account from the account page. The deletion form requires your account email, an explicit DELETE confirmation, and acknowledgement that the action is permanent.

After deletion is accepted, AdStopLoss removes active product records associated with your account and signs you out locally.

3. Manual Deletion Request

If you cannot access your account or need help with deletion, email hello@adstoploss.com from the email address associated with your AdStopLoss account. Include the account email and a brief note that you are requesting deletion.

We aim to process support-assisted deletion requests within 30 days. We may need to verify account ownership before deleting data.

4. Data That Can Be Deleted

Self-serve account deletion and support-assisted deletion can include active product data associated with your AdStopLoss account.

This may include:

  • account profile data
  • connected Google Ads OAuth tokens
  • stored Google Ads customer, account, campaign, and metrics data
  • dashboard alerts
  • email alert logs

5. Limited Retention

Some logs, backups, or records may be retained for a limited time when necessary for security, operational continuity, abuse prevention, dispute handling, or legal reasons.

Self-serve deletion removes active product records from AdStopLoss systems. Limited backup or security retention may still apply, and retained records are not used to continue product monitoring.
