1. What AdStopLoss Is
AdStopLoss is a Google Ads monitoring and alerting SaaS MVP. It helps users review campaign performance, detect anomalies, generate dashboard alerts, and send email alerts when enabled.
AdStopLoss is read-only monitoring software. It does not pause campaigns, edit budgets, change bids, create campaigns, edit ads, or perform Google Ads write actions.
2. Account and Sign-In Data We Collect
When you create or access an AdStopLoss account, we collect and process basic account information needed to authenticate you and operate the service.
This may include:
- email address
- display name, when provided
- authentication provider metadata, such as whether you used email/password or Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google through Supabase Auth, we use the email and profile information provided through Supabase Auth for account login and account identification.
3. Google Ads Data We Access
When you connect Google Ads, AdStopLoss uses Google APIs to read account and campaign information needed for monitoring and alerting.
Google Ads data may include:
- account and customer IDs
- campaign names and campaign status
- spend and cost
- clicks and impressions
- CTR and CPC
- conversions
- campaign performance metrics
We use this data to monitor ad performance, detect anomalies, generate dashboard alerts, and send email alerts if email alerts are enabled.
4. OAuth Tokens
Google Ads OAuth refresh tokens are stored server-side so AdStopLoss can continue read-only syncs after you connect an account.
OAuth tokens are not exposed to the frontend dashboard and are not returned to the browser by AdStopLoss APIs.
5. Third-Party Services
AdStopLoss uses third-party services to run the product. These providers process data only as needed to provide authentication, hosting, database, email, analytics, and Google Ads integration functionality.
Current services include:
- Supabase for authentication and database infrastructure
- Railway for backend hosting
- Vercel for frontend hosting
- Resend for email alerts
- Google APIs for OAuth and Google Ads data access
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager for site analytics
- Microsoft Clarity for product and site usage analytics
6. User Controls and Deletion Requests
You can disconnect Google Ads from the dashboard integrations page. Disconnecting stops future Google Ads syncs for that connection.
You can delete your account from the account page while signed in. The deletion flow requires your account email, an explicit DELETE confirmation, and acknowledgement that the action is permanent.
Account deletion removes your account profile, connected Google Ads tokens, stored campaign and account metrics, alerts, rules, sync logs, and email logs from active AdStopLoss product systems.
You can also request help with deletion by contacting hello@adstoploss.com from your account email.
Some logs or backups may be retained for a limited time if necessary for security, operational, or legal reasons.
7. Security and Updates
We take reasonable steps for an MVP service to protect user data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee perfect security.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as AdStopLoss evolves. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
